Abbotsford Symphony Orchestra Postpones April 13 Stephane Lemelin Concert

Abbotsford Symphony Orchestra is postponing the April 13 concert featuring Stephane Lemelin. The concert will be re-scheduled in the fall.

Ticket holders who were planning to attend the performance should retain their tickets until a new show date is announced. Tickets for the performance will be honoured at the rescheduled event.

To request a refund, ticket holders must return their tickets to the ASO Office at 2387 Ware Street in the Kariton Gallery.

With a broad and eclectic repertoire, Canadian pianist Stéphane Lemelin tours regularly in Canada and has given numerous performances in the United States, Europe and Asia. Known for his frequent collaborations and numerous recordings, Stephane is the recipient of several national and international awards and currently serves as Professor of Music at the University of Ottawa.

Julia Rumley

 

 

 

 

Julia Rumley is an accomplished young local musician whose talent has sent her around the world. She won a full scholarship for the postgraduate course at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music in London where she studied with David Takeno. She currently plays with the London Symphony Orchestra and has toured with the orchestra, most recently to Indonesia, Japan and Korea.

Alexander Tselyakov

Russian- born, Alexander Tselyakov, a “phenomenal pianist” is fast becoming a well established, accomplished and respected special talent on the Canadian and International scene since immigrating to Canada in 1994. He currently serves as a professor of piano at Brandon University.
